One of Australia’s best-loved forums for literature, ideas and storytelling, Sydney Writers’ Festival will stream its headline events from Sydney direct to Griffith Regional Theatre.

"We are very excited to be offering our Griffith audience the entire Live and Local program this year. The program will stream every day from 10am to 5pm and for just $10 a day, people can tune in to as many sessions as they wish.”

- Griffith Regional Theatre Manager Raina Savage

“Foreign correspondent Peter Greste, who spent over a year in an Egyptian prison, talks about how investigative journalism is under threat in the age of terrorism and fake news. And Sarah Ferguson discusses her moving reflection on her relationship with her mother.”

Ms Savage said some of the most fascinating conversations will be the panels.
