Looking for a job? Luckily for you, there are a whole heap of jobs on offer in Griffith due to population growth!

Griffith City Council are ramping up the search under the Griffith Now Hiring banner and seventeen local businesses have partnered with Council to promote the region.

Recent population statistics provided by Australian Bureau of Statistics show that Griffith is continuing to grow - the current resident popular is estimated at 26,586.

Griffith Mayor, Councillor John Dal Broi said this was a prime opportunity for people looking for a career change.

“We are seeking more families and single people to relocate to Griffith to fill the many exciting career opportunities available here,” Councillor John Dal Broi said.

“The Griffith region is booming and one of our greatest economic challenges is attracting people to Griffith to fill the skilled and unskilled positions.

“We need health professionals, accountants, irrigation specialists, sales managers, engineers, farm managers, office managers, winemakers, the list goes on.”

The Griffith Now Hiring marketing campaign aims to increase awareness of Griffith and the key message will highlight the city's tree-change assets: a progressive lively regional centre, plenty of job opportunities across diverse industries and affordable housing.
