Fire and Rescue NSW and not-for-profit organisation Girls on Fire are teaming up to host the Girls Fire & Emergency Services (GFES) Camp.

According to Fire and Rescue, the camp will challenge girls between the ages of 15-17 to "break down barriers and test themselves in ways they never thought possible" as they participate in rescue operations, abseiling, rafting, hiking and more!

This event has the potential to create lasting social change by empowering girls at a vulnerable age as well as influencing community views about emergency services and the people who provide them.

- FRNSW Station Officer and Girls on Fire founder, Bronnie Mackintosh

The GFES Camp will be held at YMCA Camp Yarramundi from the 2nd - 8th December.

There are only 20 available places, so register you interest before November 1st for your chance to be there!
