Dan Giovannoni’s 2015 Green Room Award winning Jurassic will be brought to life this month in a live action play at Griffith Regional Theatre.

The play tells the story of Italian migration, exploring concepts such as what it is to migrate, the importance of family, and the effects of feeling misplacement and a longing for home.

Jurassica is a warm, multi-generational family story which will appeal to a broad age demographic, older theatre-going audiences as well as young adults will enjoy this show.

- Raina Savage, Griffith Regional Theatre Manager

Giovannoni based the story on his experiences as a child of migrant parents. He stated that although it’s not an autobiography, “it would be silly, and incorrect to suggest that I’m not in there somehow.”

The show will be presented on Wednesday 26th September, with members invited to bring a friend for free.
