Griffith City Council is planning to construct new footpaths throughout Griffith after receiving a funding boost from the NSW Government’s Strong Country Communities.

Construction of the footpaths is set to commence within the 2018/2019 financial year. In the meantime, Council has urged residents to attend upcoming forums to give feedback on the plans.

These forums will be held to discuss the areas set to receive new footpaths – Griffith, Yenda, Yoogali and Hanwood – and to identify any potential issues with the proposals. The details of each are below:

Wednesday 22nd August, 7-8pm at Yoogali Public School

Monday 27th August, 7-8pm at Yenda Public School

Wednesday 29th August, 7-8pm at Hanwood Public School

Monday 3rd September, 7-8pm at Griffith City Library

Let us know your thoughts on the new footpath plans!
