Are you currently teaching your kids to drive? Need some help or want to know more about the new licencing system that comes into place November 20th?
Well Leeton Shire Council have you covered! They will be hosting a FREE Workshop “Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers” for parents and supervisors.
Kym Snow, Road Safety Officer for Leeton Shire Council said “the Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers course offers parents and supervisors practical advice on how to provide effective driving practice. It is a well-known fact that young drivers face the greatest risk on the roads within the first two years of having their license, so it is vital that parents and supervisors pass on the right information and skills to keep their young drivers safe on the roads.”
The workshop is set to cover topics such as;
- Learner Driver Log Books
- How to Plan Driving Sessions
- How to deal with difficulties that may arise
- The importance of giving learner drivers constructive feedback
Bookings for the Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers course are essential and can be made by calling Kym Snow on 6953 0948 or 0448 623 049.
