Altina Wildlife Park has done it again! They've just welcomed TWO litters of puppies, but not just any puppies! They're African Hunting Dogs and are the only privately-owned zoo EVER to breed them.
This is the second separate pack of dogs to be bred successfully this year, which was thought to be impossible.
One of the breeding pairs have delivered four male puppies, who have just ventured out of their dens a few days ago, whereas the second breeding pair and first-time parents have delivered seven pups consisting of four males and three females.
The total number of wild dogs born and bred at Altina has risen from 21 to 32.
This particular species of Wild Dog is critically endangered, making this an important program for the park.
