Report Predicts Bushfire Seasons Will Worsen

With summer fast approaching, a new report has been released showing that NSW is facing increasingly dangerous bushfire seasons, which will start earlier and last longer, because of climate change.

This year’s bushfire season has already been brought forward in the Riverina, after record-breaking temperatures throughout September.

Professor Lesley Hughes says local communities need to prepare for worsening conditions, and also address the route cause by reducing our greenhouse gas emissions.
