New service aiming to make switching energy providers easy

Riverina residents who want to switch to a cheaper electricity plan, can now have Service NSW find a cheaper plan for them, and inform their provider if they want to switch.

Cootamundra MP Steph Cooke has welcomed the new Energy Switch service, available through Service NSW either online or in person, it uses a customer’s latest e-bill to find the cheapest plan for their individual usage.

Ms Cooke says while there are a lot of different price comparison websites, this takes things to the next level, allowing locals to change electricity providers and lock in a better deal with the click of a mouse, or a quick chat with Service NSW.
