Man and Woman Extradited on Drug Supply Charges

Investigations into alleged drug supply in the Riverina region have led Strike Force Bruchhauser police to extradite a man and woman from Victoria.

Officers say following extensive inquiries, they stopped a vehicle on the Hume Highway at Goulburn on Saturday October 21, a search allegedly locating a sum of cash, the occupants were released pending further inquiries.

A warrant was subsequently issued for the arrest of the 36 year old man from Coolamon and 32 year old woman from The Rock, who appeared at Wodonga Magistrates Court, where an extradition was granted.

Both were taken to the Albury Police Station and charged with supply a prohibited drug, and knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime with intent to conceal, they were both bail refused.
