Traffic and Highway Patrol police have pulled over a Lamborghini twice on in the space of an hour, the first time on the Hume Highway between Albury and Holbrook, and the second at Tumblong.

Officers say they speed checked the sports car at 177 kilometres an hour at about 12.15 yesterday, stopped the vehicle and spoke to the driver, who held an international drivers’ license.

His NSW driving privileges were suspended on the spot and he was fined more than $2435.

The same vehicle was stopped at around 1pm at Tumblong after allegedly being clocked at 140 kilometres per hour with a different driver behind the wheel, a 23 year old man, who was fined $472.
