NSW Labor has promised to put up a motion to force Daryl Maguire out of Parliament, if he hasn’t resigned by next sitting day on August 7.

Acting Opposition Leader Michael Daley says Mr Maguire has displayed contempt towards his own constituents in Wagga by refusing to resign, following the explosive revelations at ICAC last Friday.

He’s calling on Mr Maguire to resign of his own accord, admitting the expulsion motion is a very serious thing to do, and they have been wishing it would not come to that.
