The campaigning has begun ahead of the upcoming by-election, with Labor saying recent health data has shown Wagga Base Hospital is under enormous pressure.

Shadow Health Minister Walt Secord was in town yesterday, joining Country Labor candidate Dan Hayes, saying Wagga Base Hospital has some of the longest waits for non-urgent elective surgery in the state.
