A former Junee woman has been named the new Chair of the Australian Rugby League Indigenous Council.

Katrina Fanning replaces Whitton’s Linda Burney in the role, with fellow Junee local Laurie Daley also joining the council for the first time.

Fanning was a member of the inaugural Jillaroos test team, and has represented Australia 26 times.
