Wagga Mayor Greg Conkey has now released figures showing how much Council is owed by JetGo airlines, saying he refrained from doing so previously, because they did have the expectation that it would be paid.

That expectation has now changed, with the possibility that the $105,000 outstanding debt, comprised mostly of landing fees, will be written off as a 'last resort'.

Mayor Conkey has also pointed out that the route between Wagga and Brisbane is one of JetGo’s strongest, averaging 1300 to 1500 passengers per month, so he's hoping another airline will step forward to take it over.
