Bright Future Promised For Riverina Murray

Minister for Planning, Anthony Roberts, has unveiled the new Riverina Murray Regional Plan, a 20-year blueprint aiming to make the region one of the most vibrant economic zones in the state.

Mr Roberts says the plan will see significant investment in infrastructure, a focus on renewable energy, and safeguard the vital agricultural industry.

He also says the region, which already makes the largest regional contribution to agriculture in NSW, will lead the way in agricultural innovation, and the regional cities of Wagga, Griffith and Albury will play an important role in providing more homes, jobs and services.

The plan can be viewed on the Planning NSW website.
