$40M Project Taking Shape

Bomen Enabling Roads Almost Complete

Wagga City Council has provided an update on the $40 million Bomen Enabling Roads project, saying it’s nearing completion, with roadways taking shape and a rail bridge almost finished, and set to be open to traffic by the end of June.

All levels of government have put in funding for the project, and Council says it’s been moving with pace, with bitumen laid on sections of the new roadways this month, including the new north-eastern entrance to the Livestock Marketing Centre.

Council says delays to the project have been minimal to date, with 14 days all up lost due to weather conditions
