Trapped Whale Set Free From Netting

There's still some concerns though

Trapped Whale Set Free From Netting

Wildlife officers will be keeping an eye out for a humpback whale, swimming along the coast with fishing ropes tangled around it.

The animal was trapped in netting off Fremantle yesterday, rescue teams worked all day to cut it loose.

It's managed to swim away, but not all of the netting was removed.

They'll make another attempt to get rid of the tangle if they can find the whale today.

In the meantime, they're warning us to steer clear of the animal if we come across it.
