Popular airline company Etihad Airways has announced they will be dropping the flight path between Perth and Abu Dhabi.
Taking effect from October 1st, Etihad with cease Perth flights and have stated that the following regarding any travellers affected:
“Along with our travel agency partners, we will work closely with impacted guests to notify them of the changes to their itineraries and re-accommodate them on alternative flights.”
The move comes after a disappointing year for the airline, with the company losing $US1.87 billion.
On the flip side, Singapore Airlines (which was yesterday named the best airline in the world!) has announced it will be launching its new 337-seat 787-10s over the Singapore to Perth route from May 7.
