After 50 years as one of Subiaco’s most iconic restaurants, The Witch’s Cauldron has quietly shut up shop.
The joint most famously known for its garlic prawns told staff just yesterday that they had decided it was time to relax and retire.
“We just felt now was the right time to say goodbye,” owner Tans Gosling told The West.
“We both have put our hearts and souls into this business for the past 48 years and now is the time to put our feet up and watch the sun set.
“Both Geoff and I would like to thank so many people, from our wonderful staff and suppliers through to our extremely loyal customers who we have thoroughly enjoyed serving over the years.”
