A post from WA Revenue Raisers on Facebook captures a snapshot of #Perth each and every Monday during 'cheap fuel day'.
Here is the offending pic. Captured in Beckenham.
Sadly, from our experience, Beckenham isn't the lone ranger when it comes to servos that get hammered by traffic during cheap fuel days. It seems that many of #Perth drivers are up for a bit of saving on a cheap Monday.
Put in context though, you might argue that it's actually worth it?
Let's say you have a 50 litre tank (simple, round number)
If you fill that tank at $1.05 a litre, that works out to be $52.50.
It you get petrol at today's average price of $1.30, the same 50 litre tank will cost $65.00.
Getting it yesterday would mean a saving of $12.50, on a full 50 litre tank.
Sure, it might take 30 minutes to fill up, but you take what you can get, right?
Of course, none of this factors in the voucher discount ;)
