A 12-year-old boy was laid to rest last week after he was tragically killed at a construction site in the Western Australian region of Wheatbelt.
School boy Albert Sharpe was volunteering with his father at the new Plymouth Brethren Church meeting hall construction site in Northam on November 25 when he sustained critical injuries.
The specifics of the accident have not been made known, however, he was said to be gyprocking with a team at the time, before being taken to Northam Hospital and later airlifted Royal Perth Hospital.
"They were finishing up a simple task, putting sheets up and screwing it to the frame [when the accident occurred]," Plymouth Brethren Church spokesperson James Bagshaw told WA Today.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
