WATCH: Fresh Bikie Raids Across The Hunter

Police have raided 10 homes belonging to bikies across the Hunter in the past week, looking for guns.

Properties have been searched at Metford, Kearsley, Cessnock, Branxton, Gillieston Heights, Marks Point, Cameron Park and Anna Bay.

It follows the recent tit-for-tat war between rival gangs the Nomads and Finks, which has seen an increase in violence and driveby shootings.

Strike Force Raptor pulled apart the Nomads clubhouse at Muswellbrook on Wednesday.

Alcohol, a bar, OMCG colours and paraphernalia, and various other items were removed from the building.

Police say more operations are planned throughout the Hunter.

“Highly-visible and high-impact operations like this are part of our ongoing strategies to target and disrupt the activities of outlaw motorcycle gangs and their associates,” Supterintendent Steven Clarke said.

“This will be complemented by a range of other overt and covert strategies led by the Gangs Squad," he said.

“Our priority is the safety of the community, and we will not tolerate public acts of violence – or any activity – that puts that safety at risk.”
