It's been a big effort from dozens of firefighters overnight to bring a large bushfire under control in southern Lake Macquarie.
The blaze at Wyee was finally contained early this morning, after being whipped up by strong winds.
The RFS says it started as the result of a car fire yesterday afternoon.
The fire burnt through 80 hectares between Wyee Road and Ruttleys Road.
Thankfully no homes were under threat.
While crews will continue efforts today to contain the Heaton's Lookout bushfire burning west of the freeway at Freemans Waterhole.
So far, it's burnt through 200 hectares.
