A man accused of breaking into cars in Warabrook overnight has been caught red-handed.
Police were called out to Coachwood Drive at 12:45am following reports of a person stealing from vehicles in the street.
Detectives claim they found the 34-year-old inside a Toyota Hilux on arrival. A further search of his backpac turned up cash and portable DVD players.
He was arrested and charged with trespass, goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen and four counts of larceny.
