Firefighters are trying to extinguish a bushfire at Windale, being fanned by strong winds.
It broke out in bush behind homes in Cherry Street at around 10am Saturday.
Five Fire and Rescue NSW crews are working on the blaze, which has burnt out 2 hectares.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson says the fire is 'being controlled'.
No properties are under threat, and there have been no evacuations.
It's unclear what started the fire.
