CPR Saves Surfer's Life At Swansea Heads

Lifeguards and bystanders have saved a surfer's life near Swansea Heads.

The 65-year-old had just left the water at Frenchman's Beach when he collapsed at around 11am.

CPR was administered by people on the beach, before lifeguards defibrillated him and he eventually regained consciousness.

He's been airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Chopper.
