Corolla Drivers Busted Street Racing At Blacksmiths

Two teens have been caught street racing their Toyota Corollas at nearly double the speed limit through Blacksmiths.

Police allege the red and green P-Platers hit speeds of 135km/hr in a 70km/hr zone on the Pacific Highway at around 2pm yesterday afternoon.

The 17-year-old red P-plater from Bateau Bay, and 19-year-old Terrigal man were both stopped by officers who suspended their licences on the spot. 

Both are expected to be charged with notices for illegal street racing and exceed speed limit by over 45km/hr. 

While it's expected their cars will receive defect notices with both sporting modifications.
