The Hit Network is partnering with the NAB AFLW for round 5 of competition this weekend!
All of our Hit Network metro stations are gearing up for round 5, with AFLW stars dropping by our breakfast shows for chats and a buzz in our offices as everyone gets ready for the big weekend!
Plus The Hit Squad will be at all four matches across the weekend armed with plenty of prizes including signed AFLW merchandise.
Hit92.9 will be supporting the Fremantle Dockers with their brekkie co-host Heidi Anderson the team’s official ambassador, while Hit107 will be cheering for the Adelaide Crows!
Hit92.9’s Heidi Anderson and 2DayFM’s Em Rusciano have been massive supporters of the AFLW since the season kicked off and a great synergy has developed between Hit and the AFLW with a common goal to empower and inspire women.
Head of the Hit Network Gemma Fordham said, “We were honored to be a part of the AFLW’s inaugural year last year. In just one season it became a competition that resonated with families all over Australia for its inclusiveness and exciting nature. We jumped at the opportunity to partner in a bigger way this year and we fully support all the women who are a part of this amazing competition.”
The Hit Network will also take part in the AFLW’s International Women’s Day celebrations at the MCG on March 7.
