At least two people have died and around 40 have been injured after a fire tore through a hotel in Prague.
A fire broke out on one of the floors of the four-star Eurostars David Hotel before the blaze spread through the building’s air conditioning system.
Of the 40 injured, most were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation, while eight were taken to hospital, and three were resuscitated.
Fightighters fought the blaze for two hours, however reports claim the two people who were killed died before emergency services arrived.
The death toll is expected to rise at rescue teams search for those remaining in the building.
The exact cause of the fire is currently unknown.
