Tongan flag bearer Pita Taufatofua has stunned the world at the Winter Olympic Opening Ceremony in South Korea after arrived oiled up and shirtless in freezing temperatures.
As many athletes arrived at the ceremony in self-warming jackets, Pita chose to lead his nation in just a skirt and thongs, as he did when he arrived at the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics.
Pita competed in taekwondo at the Rio Olympics and will be competing in cross-country skiing in PyeongChang.
The Tongan flag bearer wasn't the only person to brave the cold without any warm attire.
The Bermuda Olympic team arrived at the Olympic opening ceremony wearing shorts as temperatures fell to -1 degree.
Only three athletes are competing in the Winter Olympics but all three braved the cold in red shorts, representing their warm country that usually has temperatures that don't fall anywhere near single figures.
