A heartbroken dog has walked over 30 kilometres to her previous family twice after being given up for adoption.
Cathleen the Great Pyrenees mix had been given up by her family in Oklahoma in the US after they moved house and didn't have space for her anymore.
She was staying with a family friend in Prague, Oklahoma while a shelter tried to find her another home.
However, Cathleen was determined and somehow set off for her old home and family some 32 kilometres away.
"Cathleen has travelled twice from Prague (about a 20 mile trip) and returned to her family in Seminole," Seminole Animal Shelter wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
"Her heart wants to be with them but they cannot keep her."
The Seminole Animal Shelter is still looking for a home for this beautiful dog.
