Australian scientists have invented gut health tracking pills to help sufferers of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
The capsule, which is understood to be the size of a vitamin, transmits hydrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen levels while in the digestive system.
Basically, the tablet tracks your gas.
The new technology will allow greater insight into digestive health, particularly regarding gut bacteria.
This will greatly help diagnosis and understanding of other intestinal issues.
So far, a successful human trial has been completed and scientists are looking to raise funds for phase-two trials.
