Scientists Have Found Out How Many Hours Sleep Per Night Can Help You Lose Weight

A new study has shown getting insufficient sleep could be the reason your jeans are tight!

The University of Leeds study found insufficient sleep makes you more likely to be overweight, and have poorer metabolic health.

The data found people who slept six hours of sleep a night had a waist measurement that was 3cm greater than those who were getting nine hours a night.

Over 1,600 people were included in the study, which also found that those who slept less had reduced levels of HDL “good cholesterol” in their blood.
