The NSW Food Authority has advised that certain products for sale in liquor stores be recalled due to potential chemical contamination.

Affected bottles are the G J Wholesale Alcohol Products, with the following products recalled:

  • Verushka Vodka
  • Mississippi Bourbon
  • Los Cabos Tequila 
  • Yachtsman White Rum
  • Mudgee Rum
  • Barman's Choice Whiskey
  • Hunter Brandy
  • Her Choice Gin

The 700mL bottles of the above are labelled "supplied to and bottled in Australia for G J Wholesale".

NSW Food Authority has said that a chemical contamination could cause injury to consumers if ingested.

Affected bottles are for sale in NSW, QLD and ACT.

Anyone with the above mentioned bottles at home are advised to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

If you have any health concerns relating to this recall, it is also advised that medical help should be sought.
