It could be a good idea to check the fridge, with news that Aldi has recalled its mayonnaise.

This comes amid fears that glass could be inside the jars due to faulty packaging.

According to the Food Standards ANZ statement, "the recall is due to faulty packaging and potential for glass breakage".

This faulty packaging could result in injury or glass contamination.

Consumers are advised not to consume this product, and return it to the place of purchase for a full cash refund.

All batches are affected by this recall.
