A number of ice cream products from South Australian ice cream maker, Golden North, have been recalled.

The recall from South Australia Health, said it followed a complaint about metal fragments in a product.

The health authority assured the public it is purely precautionary and there have been no injuries.

The recall includes:

Black & Gold 5 L Vanilla – Best Before 04 Dec ‘19

Black & Gold 2 L Chococlate, Chocolate Chip – Best Before 08 Dec 19 and 12 Dec ‘19

Country Style 5 L Vanilla – Best Before 7 Dec 19, 13 Dec 19 and 14 Dec ‘19

Country Style 5 L Krazy Kolors – Before before 13 Dec ‘19.

Foodland 4 L Neapolitan – Best before Dec 12

Golden North 2 L Vanilla – Best before Dec 5 and Dec 8, ‘19

Golden North 2 L Honey – Best before Dec 6, ‘19

Simple 2 L Vanilla – Best Before Dec 7, ’19.

Simple 2 L Neapolitan – Best Before Dec 7, ‘19
