NAB customers have reportedly been experiencing issues with bank transfers and Centrelink payments this morning.
Customers have taken to NAB’s Facebook page to complain about the issues, with many venting their frustration at the situation. Some customers said that they hadn’t received their salary or other expected payments, were not able to transfer funds or were missing their Centrelink payments
“Once my pays in i will be going to a different bank,” wrote one customer. “This is just nuts. People need to pay rent and bills!”
“I'm waiting on wages to go OUT, meaning I have staff not getting paid. Was advised by business banking to check at the end of the day,” another wrote.
NAB posted on Facebook that they are currently working on fixing the problem, and noted that customers should start to see their payments processing soon.
Some customers replied to NAB's post and said they had started to see their expected funds in their accounts.
It is not known what caused the outage.
