Aussie shoppers have spotted major grocery stores taking baby formula off shelves, instead opting to sell tins behind the counter.
This photograph posted to Reddit of a sign as Coles is just one example of supermarkets attempting to stop shoppers from bulk-buying the tins, leaving parents desperately searching for formula to feed their infant children.
The move comes as photos and videos have surfaced online over recent years, showing shoppers clearing out shelves within minutes, mostly by ‘Daigous’ aka people who buy products overseas and sell them on in China, usually at a higher price).
