Kraft Peanut Butter Returning To Shelves

Big legal battle with Bega

Kraft peanut butter is making a return to some supermarket shelves in a move that is causing some trouble for Aussie brand Bega.

Bega bought the rights to the original Kraft peanut butter - never oily, never dry - nine months ago.

But now the US-owned Kraft company has decided to re-enter the market.

While using the sell of 'loved since 1935', Kraft has not commented on whether it has the same original recipe as before since this was acquired by Bega.

The matter is currently before a US court regarding trademark infringement.

Bega also has mostly Australian ingredients, while Kraft has less than 10 per cent.
