A guy selling his sneakers in a Sydney park, has allegedly had a knife pulled on him.

The 22-year-old met another man who wanted to buy a pair of black Adidas Yeezy sneakers for $1100 in Johnson Park in Dulwich Hill about 7.30 last night.

It's alleged the guy who said he wanted to buy them, tried on the Kanye West-designed hi-tops and then pulled a knife, forcing him to flee the park, without this money, and without this shoes.

Police reckon it could actually be linked to a similar incident earlier in the night, when a guy ran off with an expensive jacket after trying it on at nearby Arlington light rail station.

On each occasion the man has been described as Aboriginal/Torrens Strait Islander in appearance and about 170cm tall with a medium build and aged about 16. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hooded jumper and black track pants.

Anyone with information about these incidents should contact police at Marrickville or Crime Stoppers.
