The company behind glittery iPhone cases sold at Amazon, Victoria's Secret and the likes has recalled the accessories, after getting reports of chemical burns to customers.

All up, more than 275,000 cases for iPhone 6, 6s and 7 models have been recalled.

The cases were manufactured by MixBin and sold from the US, Mexico, Canada and online by retailers like Amazon, Victoria's Secret, Nordstrom Rack etc. Usually, they sold for between $15 and $65.

The cases have been exploding randomly, and causing serious skin irritations and even burns.

One person said they suffered permanent scarring from a chemical burn and another said they had chemical burns and swelling along their leg, face, neck, chest, upper body and hands.

Anyone who has one of these cases has been told they can get a refund from MixBin
