The finishing touches are being put onto the venue for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, kicking off in just few weeks time!
Despite rumours about unfinished construction, locals who have had a sneak peak have revealed the Athlete's Village is nothing to sneeze at!
The village where the athletes will reside is fitted with a huge dining hall with a massive buffet with an array different cuisines from around the world, including Indian, African, Asian and Western style.
"There's a games room to chill out in, with a polyclinic with optometry, massage and dental," Queensland local Sai Raiwalui has revealed.
"There are resort style pools; the double helix thing is the "village heart" and the fountain is modelled after Natural Bridge at Springbrook down the road."
The stage pictured is for welcome ceremonies for each individual country and the bean bag area around the tree is in the dining hall.
Looking pretty cool!
