A Cirque du Soleil performer has died after falling during a live show.
Yann Arnaud, fell during a performance in front of a live audience on Saturday night while performing an aerial number in Florida.
It’s believed the 38-year-old’s hand slipped; audience members said he fell around 12 metres and lay motionless on the stage for a few minutes before the audience was asked to leave.
Cirque du Soleil canceled its final two Tampa shows while the company and authorities investigate how the accident happened.
He leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
