ARIA Flasher Avoids Conviction After Exposing Himself To Photographers On Red Carpet

Australian musician Kirin J Callinan has been given a good behaviour bond after an incident at the ARIA red carpet last year in which he lifted his kilt and exposed himself to photographers.

Callinan, 32, pleaded guilty at the Downing Centre Local Court today to the charge of wilful and obscene exposure.

Deputy chief magistrate Chris O'Brien recorded no conviction as while the motive of the action was unclear, it was accepted that Callinan had suffered financially after being dropped from the Laneway Festival.
