Tickets for the AFL's Preliminary Finals have crashed the Ticketek website for a second time after the tickets went on sale at 9am this morning.

After last weekend's semi final results, Richmond and Collingwood will be going head to head at the MCG in Melbourne, whilst the West Coast Eagles will play the Melbourne Football Club at Optus Stadium in Perth.

Richmond and Collingwood have the largest membership numbers in the league and fans of the West Coast Eagles have regularly sold out the new Optus Stadium.

Tickets for club members went on sale at 9am this morning and immediately left fans in Ticketek's queuing system due to high demand.

Fans who did make it through to the website have taken to Twitter to show that although they are no longer in a queue, the website is flagging them as "bots" and has shut down their ticket purchase altogether.

Ticketek has replied to fans telling them to try purchasing tickets on another device.

Other fans decided to camp outside physical Ticketek counters across the country, to avoid online panic.
