2 Kempsey teens have been arrested after an alleged break and enter in Port Macquarie.
Just after 2am on Monday, police, whilst en route to a break in at a local service station, observed a suspicious motor vehicle parked near a Lake Road medical centre.
As Police approached, the vehicle left the carpark with no lights on and accelerated into Wyandra Crescent before it stopped.
Four occupants exited the vehicle and ran. Police were able to apprehend two of the young persons, they were both 17 old from the Kempsey area.
The white Hyundai Accent they were in had been stolen earlier in the evening from an address in Gordon Street, Port Macquarie.
The vehicle also had two cash floats from a Lake Road Pharmacy in it, along with breaking implements and a large checkered bag of clothing.
Entry had been gained into the Pharmacy by smashing the front glass door.
Entry had not been gained into the service station though the glass doors were damaged.
Both young persons were charged with carried in a conveyance without the consent of the owner, break and enter dwelling house etc. with intent and aggravated B&E commit serious indictable offence.
They were both granted conditional bail to appear at the Port Macquarie Children’s Court on December 3 2018.
