2 fish aggregating devices have now been deployed off Port Macquarie, set to improve recreational fishing during the summer months.
The FAD's are a GPS tracked yellow buoy, with a flashing yellow beacon for safe navigation.
The devices have proven increasingly popular with anglers off Port Macquarie, 1 being deployed 16 kms from the Hastings River and another 10 kms from the Camden Haven River.
Port Macquarie MP Leslie Williams says the Government program is another example of recreational fishing licence fees at work.
The devices have been funded through the Recreational Fishing Saltwater Trust, popular with fishers as they create new locations to fish and ease pressure on the most popular spots.
