Today is National Burger Day and many eateries around Melbourne are serving up the goods to mark the occasion.

1. Rude Boy, Brunswick West
This burger joint has come up with the ‘Roo Boy’; packed with pulled slow cooked barbecued Kangaroo, Wagyu patty and homemade smoked bush tomato relish. Better yet, the first 200 Roo Boys to walk out of the store are FREE!

2. Huxtaburger & Deliveroo
Deliveroo are always coming up with fun specials. This time they've teamed up with Huxtaburger to create The Hangry Meal. It's a fun spin on a Happy Meal and even includes a toy!

3. Easey’s, Collingwood
Easey’s are taking a trip down memory lane with the Louis’ Lunch original Hamburger sandwich, and are even following a strict recipe. It’s got a burger patty, tomato, onion and cheese served on white toast.

4. B.East, Brunswick East
Paying homage to the new Duchess of Sussex, this joint have whipped up the Mega Markle Smash. It’s a fusion of American and British flavours and we have a good feeling the Queen would approve.

5. Changz Canteen, Elsternwick
An excuse to have an early lunch, this spot is giving away 100 burgers for FREE from midday. Plus, if you mention its National Burger Day, you’ll score a free cheeseburger with every purchase.
