Two teenagers are in custody following a fatal hit-run collision in Mitcham on Wednesday.
An 18-year-old Seaford man and 17-year-old Mooroolbark boy have been arrested in relation to the collision at 4:15pm at the intersection of Glenburnie Road and Orient Avenue.
33-year-old Mitcham motorcyclist Keith Stevens sustained life-threatening injuries when he was dragged by the stolen black BMW for 85 metres.
He sustained burns to more than half of his body after the bike caught alight and died in hospital yesterday.
In a statement his family remembered him as a "loving father, partner and son" and a "gentle giant".
Police are still looking for two others believed to have been involved in the incident.
